Telesca Center for Justice Scales of Justice
"Scales of Justice" is an abstracted artistic view of justice in the court room. Originally deigned with artificial light behind the glass for the reception area in Woods, Oviatt, Gilman, Sturman and Clarke's main office. The art glass now graces the lobby of the Telesca Center for Justice as a visual screen light by daylight between an entry and the lobby. Photography: Chris Maggio

“Everybody in the building has been here to see it!”

Testimonial: "For our new office, we needed to have a glass barrier or window installed at the front reception area in order to help maintain privacy and patient confidentiality. Even though I would have preferred to have this area open to the waiting room, as long as we had to partition it, I thought that it would be nicer for the office staff and the patients to have something that would be pleasing to look at. When I met Nancy, I indicated to her that I was looking for something that would have an organic feel to it, yet be abstract enough to perhaps entice the viewer's own interpretation. Nancy was able to take our ideas and translate them to a challenging media such as glass to make our vision come to life. Not only does the glass serve its functional purpose, it is a genuine piece of art to admire. We have received many favorable comments about it since it was installed."

"Nancy was great to work with. She easily translated a vision into reality. Our community is so fortunate to have such a talented artist!"
Terry Fregoe, Office Manager
“She expresses the passion in that beautiful Pucini aria ‘Vesci des Artes’ sung by Tosca, ‘I live for my art. . . She lives for art. . . a one -person design studio where the artist’s focus is riveted to the creation before her. Her hands lead to the solution of the artistic expression. “

Testimonial: “I was most struck by the threads that tie this Center to the one that existed at the Genesee (Hospital). Features that were so important to the original center that carryover . . .
The Nancy Gong glass art, which was worth designing the building
around (family room.)”
