Gong Glass Works Spirit Wear

Planned well before being derailed by the Covid-19 epidemic, Gong Spirit Wear has been on my mind for some time now. Finally, it moved into action in February with plans to introduce headwear with my glass designs at a Pop-Up show that was to be in mid-April. So, the launch moved to Facebook and other social media!

Two designs for artsy and versatile Gong designed multi-use scarf, headband, neck gaitor, face mask, hair tie, and or unisex headwear. GONG SPIRIT WEAR designs’ namesake “Spirit” (Red, Yellow, green) is the first of a Limited Edition of 25. The headwear is printed with the image of detail from Nancy Gong’s fused and kiln formed glass designed for an outdoor shower in a wooded setting. “Spirit” references the connection between the earth and the sky.

“Freedom,” the blue design is the second limited edition to be launched. The headwear sold out in 1-1/2 days.

To be added to the waiting list for the next limited editions of 25 per design that are in the works. Send me an email with the Subject: Gong Spirit Wear. Once the new designs are available, you can choose the design you prefer – maybe even one for you and one for. . . if you don’t fall in love with it first!

Onward we go, we honor the past while moving forward. The Rochester Museum and Science Center brings THE CHANGEMAKERS exhibit of sheroes to exhibit herstory opening in October 2020. I am honored and excited to be a part of it. More than ever, with changes in today’s world, this exhibit has the power to change the way we look at history and how we may move forward.

Be safe, be well and be happy,

Nancy
